Tasting notes

Beverage Tasting Institute: "Silvery straw color. Bright, floral, fruity earthy aromas and flavors of honeysuckle, orange custard, and lanolin lotion with a silky, tangy, fruity sweet light-to-medium body and a sleek, interesting, long honeyed apricots and lemon sorbet finish with no oak. A delicious fruity, floral and vibrant Moscato d'Asti."

Winery:  "COLOUR: Straw yellow with greenish hues, fine perlage, slow fermentation index. BOUQUET: intense orange blossom, peach and thyme (the main aromas found in the grapes) TASTE: intense, elegant and lingering. The sweet sensations are well balanced with a pleasant acidity and fruity aromas typical of Muscat grapes.

Moscato d'Asti

Moscato d'Asti is one of the few so-called aromatic wines, because the aromas and perfumes that the grapes have are similar to those we find in the wine. Furthermore, Moscato d'Asti has its cradle in the southern part of Piedmont, the only area where the Moscato d'Asti vine grows, right where our property lies. All this helps explain Moscato Saracco's uniqueness: our ability to trap all the aromas and perfumes of the grape into the bottle. The result is a wine that becomes an integral part of our land and landscape. That is why Saracco Moscato is as sweet and seductive as the hills where it is born and grows; as vibrant and sharp as the mountains that surround and protect the land on the horizon; refreshing and effervescent, like the wind rushing down from the Alps towards our hills. Served cold with its delicate and persistent bubbles, it is like a refreshing shower in summer."
