Red Wine by Olivier Leflaive from Burgundy, France – regions. The Cuvee Margot is sourced from a variety of terroir within the Cote de Beaune with a large percentage sourced within the village of Pommard. Soils are a combination of limestone and clay. Stainless steel aging helps to retain the freshness and vineyard character of the final blend producing a wine of great purity and character. The 2011 vintage shows a flattering nose with aromas of small red berries (strawberry, raspberry). A fresh and elegant palate on crunchy fruits and fine tannins. Ideal with meat pies and spicy food.
